'Blinded by Fame', Dutch Interiors second studio album, is a fanfavorite. Never before pressed to vinyl. The Long Beach based6 piece have been in each other's lives for the better partof two decades. Jack Nugent, Conner Reeves,Shane & Hayden Barton, Davis Stewart, and Noah Kurtzwere all childhood friends, and the band is a product ofa creative union brought on by already-established trustand familiar insularity. You can begin to pick up theseparate stylings and personalities of the band membersby the songs they independently write before bringingthem to the band at large, where the tracks often grow into newforms altogether. Despite this individual approach tosongwriting, they describe each other as"branches of the same core life" whose colliding influencesand experience all bleed into the songs.With Influences spanning from ambient to southern rock to jazz to dance music, the band shapeshiftsand oscillates between alternative country, sharply hewn indie rock and hints of dissonant ambience, all while still sounding like a band who both speak their own private language and translate it into something universal. Coming off the release of their most recent album, 'Moneyball', and a New EP,'It's Glass', via Fat Possum, Dutch Interior is here to stay. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
