By 1971, his reputation was already formidable: Miles Davis had stated in his autobiography that "all my inspiration comes from Jamal, " his 1958 recordings at the Pershing Lounge had become some of the best-selling jazz albums of the era, and his command of the trio format was without peer. First Impressions captures him on June 25, 1971, at Studio 104 at the Maison de la Radio in Paris - home of the Orchestre Nationale de France - in a performance recorded for the ORTF and preserved in the INA archive for over five decades before finally seeing official release

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
