Double yellow vinyl LP pressing (blank side D) housed in a gatefold sleeve with booklet included. Released in July 2006 via the World?Circuit label, Savane was Ali?Farka?Toure's final solo album, and a deeply resonant "farewell" work. Recorded in Bamako, Mali with his specially assembled down-home ngoni group, and often acclaimed as his finest album, Savane is both one of the most traditional and seemingly the most blues drenched of Ali's recordings. 2026 celebrates the 20th anniversary of this landmark album.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
