Details: Blue Smoke vinyl. American Football's first album showcases cleanly picked guitars, intricate drumming, and the vocals of Mike Kinsella (Owen, Cap'n Jazz). The band, made up of Kinsella, Steve Holmes and Steve Lamos rooted itself in Champaign and recorded this album at Private Studios with Brendan Gamble (Braid). As a band, American Football dissolved into the history books almost as soon as this album was released, but it's success continued to grow in their absence and the band eventually reunited in 2014 for the record's 15th anniversary.

Been looking for the specific Vinyl for years and finally found it here. I was skeptical at first, but decided to purchase it and I am so glad I did!!! The record is perfect, and it is even a clear version of the vinyl which I did not know they made. Could not be happier.

I ordered this vinyl and it came in, I was super excited and every other record seemed to be fine. This one however had a bend, now it was sealed and there seemed to be no other damage so my assumption is it was a distributor issue but when I contacted to just make them aware, pale blue dot sent me another. This is the type of customer service that is above and beyond and it has made me a repeat customer. I cannot say anything better about the communication involved and the shipping speed was just as fast as well. This has become my new go to.
Bought here specifically because I found TDH for a good price but the customer service made it so much better. This particular album came in perfect. Will be ordering from here again.
