Ayo is back with Mami Wata, her 7th album. Named after the Nigerian goddess of the sea, this new album focuses on water, the main inspiration for the singer who moved to Tahiti 3 years ago. Ayo has drawn new compositions from her environment in the middle of the Pacific, ranging from intimate ballads to rhythmic litanies. Mami Wata is a logbook, testimony to the new birth of a powerful female artist. Nothing is left to chance in her free verse lyrics, or in her melodies, harmonies and arrangements, which oscillate with precision at the crossroads of genres. Produced by guitarist Freddy Koella (Bob Dylan, Lhasa), her acoustic textures warm the heart as much as her lyrics, which are about spirituality, freedom and the power of finally being yourself.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
