An important historic 1993 moment in West Coast gangster rap, which brought together the two most infamous gangs of Los Angeles. The goal was to create an outlet for gang members to release their frustrations with each other on records rather than on the streets. Actual gang members - Crips (from Compton, Watts and Long Beach) and Bloods (from Inglewood and Los Angeles) - auditioned for the group and the best MC's were chosen for the album. All proceeds from the initial 'Bangin On Wax' album sales went towards local schools and parks for the children. Now 30 years later, the original single LP changes hands for over £100, but it's now available with extra tracks which only appeared on the CD, now as a 2LP, with one red, and one blue vinyl. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
