But on Burnout Days, Flipturn arrives with more grit, craft and vulnerability than ever before - a clear evolution in the band's sound, and one that reflects their growth as musicians and individuals. Recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios near El Paso, Texas and produced by Chad Copelin (Wilderado, Sasha Sloan, BRONCHO), Burnout Days is inspired by the band's journey on the road, as they sort through challenges like self-esteem, codependency, addiction and the twists and turns of day-to-day life in one's mid-twenties. Together, they uncover the beauty that exists even in times of burnout through a mix of raw, rhythmic moments and sonic experimentation - all with a palpable sense of meticulousness and maturity.

The first time I heard this was from the video while sitting at my work computer. The sound of this on vinyl is so rich and deep. It's really the only way this should be listened to. Although, watching the video in the background does make the experience so much more. Mac's cute little grin is too much to go without.
This album is beautiful, arrived quickly and well packed. This is my favorite place to get my vinyl.

I am happy with the album and the customer service response to my inquiry about whether it shipped. I am really unhappy with the delivery by USPS- it left Pale Blue dot on Jan. 14, went to two Florida distribution centers, traveled to Philadelphia and arrived on the 16th ( and close to my home) but then inexplicably went to Memphis TN arriving on the 17th where it remained for some unknown reason for five additional days until the 22nd until it shipped out again, arriving on the 25th. Like what the ???!!! Very frustrating. Don’t know if there are other shipping options but I advise against USPS. Happy with album and price otherwise.
