Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Clannad's 1985 album, Macalla (meaning "Echo" in Irish), newly remastered by Phil Kinrade at Air Studios. This 9th studio album became their first international success and marked a significant point in the band's career, showcasing a blend of their traditional Irish folk roots with a more mainstream, pop-influenced sound. Building on the momentum from previous successes like, "Theme from Harry's Game" (1982) and their award-winning soundtrack for the TV series, Robin of Sherwood (released as the album Legend in 1984), Clannad was poised for a breakthrough in America. Macalla achieved this largely thanks to the iconic duet, "In a Lifetime," featuring U2's Bono, which reached #5 in Ireland and #20 in the UK. The album features songs in both English and Irish, including "Caisle?n Oir" and "Buachaill On ?irne" sung in their native Gaelic.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
