PRODUCT DETAILS
Oklahoma Toad (1970), co-produced by David Rosner and Margo Guryan for CTI Records, was Dave Frishberg's debut as a singer and the record that launched his celebrated career as a pianist-singer-songwriter. Long known as one of the finest pianists in jazz, Frishberg here sang his own songs on record for the first time. This reissue marks the first time on vinyl for the artist-approved producer's mix, presenting all ten original tracks. A bonus 7"" single adds Frishberg's version of his oft-recorded classic ""Peel Me a Grape"" on Side A and a previously unheard Schoolhouse Rock outtake, ""A World Without Verbs,"" on Side B.2xLP Green Vinyl in Gatefold Jacket plus 7"" Single
