On Patience, Devin Shaffer leads a group of sensitive instrumentalists through a stirring, hushed collection of folk songs. After finding a Martin guitar on the sidewalk with a note that said, "This is for you," Shaffer began writing a series of whispered folk songs from her bed that mark her move from Chicago to NYC. First, Shaffer tracked vocals and guitar in Chicago with Michael Macdonald (The Slaps, Tenci, Mia Joy, Tasha). Then, she arranged contributions from Lucy Liyou on piano, Sarah Galdes (L'Rain, Bartees Strange) on drums, Marilu Donovan (LEYA) on harp, and Mari Rubio (More Eaze) on pedal steel. The results update the intimacy of songwriters like Vashti Bunyan, Sibylle Baier, and Linda Perhacs for the twenty-first century.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
