Originally released posthumously in 2004, this new edition of From a Basement on the Hill has been remastered by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Mastering, with high-resolution tape transfers overseen by official archivist Larry Crane. This reissue features a stunning deluxe mirror-board gatefold jacket. Elliott Smith's final studio album-and his highest-charting release-was met with widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike, noting the album's expanded musical textures that nevertheless retained the welcoming and empathetic intimacy of Smith's songwriting. Rich with swampy guitar lines and hazy vocals, From a Basement unifies the '60s psychedelic sound often cited by Smith as a primary inspiration with his own signature stylings.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
