Winnipeg is an interesting place. It's cold, it's cheap, and it's responsible for more than it's fair share of great bands and fine musicians. It's a special thing when such a small, isolated place is chock-full of phenomenal, genre spanning music. The next generation is blissfully spared the ill-advised constructs that a normal music scene can beat into you. Such is the case for Field Guide who spent his youth on the road with his high school best friends playing to no one and getting good at music. He paid his bills by being a guitar player for hire all the while learning how to craft songs that land just like journal entries. In essence, because they are. Field Guide found an audience with his EP You Were, which was a breakthrough success on both streaming and radio.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
