Details: Freak Out! Is the debut album by American band the Mothers of Invention, released June 27, 1966 on Verve Records. Often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums, the album is a satirical expression of front man Frank Zappa's perception of American pop culture. It was also one of the earliest double albums in rock music (although Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde preceded it by a week), and the first 2-record debut. Mothers of Invention changed from an R&B covers band to performing Zappa's original material when he joined the group. Freak Out! Contains a range of musical styles from R&B, doo wop, and blues-influenced rock to orchestral arrangements and avant-garde sounds. In 1999, the album was honored with the Grammy Hall of Fame Award, and in 2003, Rolling Stone ranked it among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. I ordered this vinyl and it came in, I was super excited and every other record seemed to be fine. This one however had a bend, now it was sealed and there seemed to be no other damage so my assumption is it was a distributor issue but when I contacted to just make them aware, pale blue dot sent me another. This is the type of customer service that is above and beyond and it has made me a repeat customer. I cannot say anything better about the communication involved and the shipping speed was just as fast as well. This has become my new go to.
Bought here specifically because I found TDH for a good price but the customer service made it so much better. This particular album came in perfect. Will be ordering from here again.

This vinyl was very hard to find. It’s a great album by The Used and one of my favorites. I had a couple bad experiences with other companies but glad I found Pale Blue Dot. The quality of my vinyl received was perfect. Shipping was fast. Seller was communicative. I definitely plan to purchase through them rather than dealing with the mess of going through another company in the future. 10/10 would recommend.
