Expanded edition of chart topping album by Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan Features 8 b onus tracks appearing for the first time on vinyl Pressed on pink and blue coloured vinyl and includes 16pp booklet in gatefold sleeve Gillan, led by Deep Purple's iconic vocalist Ian Gillan, emerged from the jazz fusion roots of the Ian Gillan Band, blazing a short but intense trail through the golden era of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The lineup featured John McCoy on bass, Colin Towns on keyboards, drummer Mick Underwood, and the outstanding Bernie Tormé on guitar. Future Shock, the band's fourth studio album, was released by Virgin in 1981 and peaked at No. 2 on the UK album chart Gillan's highest ever placement. The title track hits like a sledgehammer, Lucitania Express demands a full throated chorus singalong, and the Top of the Pops featured single No Laughing In Heaven delivers a smirk worthy blend of sharp lyrics and pseudo rap. There's not a single weak moment every track is heavy, melodic, and masterfully crafted, standing as the pinnacle of Gillan's work, both with this band and beyond On this expanded edition, disc one consists of the original Future Shock album and disc 2 features rarities and B sides, which are appearing on vinyl for the first time. The album comes in it's original gatefold sleeve form, including a 16 page booklet housing lyrics and band photos. Now pressed on stunning blue and pink 140g coloured vinyl.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!
