Originally released in 2000 by Metal Blade Records, this album marks the band's second comeback, further solidifying their place in metal history. Founded by guitarist Dan Lorenzo in 1978, Hades has consistently pushed the boundaries of heavy music, and The Downside is no exception. This album is notable for featuring guest performances by metal heavyweights, including D.D. Verni of Overkill on bass and Billy Milano of S.O.D./M.O.D., who provides backing vocals on the reprise of "Ground Zero N.Y.C."-a track written and recorded before the tragic events of 9/11.Hades masterfully blends power metal with thrash, showcasing classic songwriting skills infused with a raw, aggressive edge. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!
