In 2008, Hot Chip released Made In The Dark, wild pop record that refused to sit still. The album rose to #4 in the UK charts with single 'Ready For The Floor' breaking into the UK Top Ten and earning a Grammy nomination. While their previous efforts were effectively bedroom studio albums, Hot Chip wanted to capture the chemistry of their live show in the recording sessions. Despite being originally signed to a major label, the band had an unprecedented level of autonomy. "We were excited by the idea of doing something strange and vibrant," says Joe Goddard. "This record was a lot about freedom to experiment and make whatever kind of take on pop music that we wanted to make," - Alexis Taylor."We'd kicked the doors in and now we were at the party," says bandmember Owen Clarke.Reissued here on 2xLP and CD for the first time ever since it's release in a deluxe embossed gatefold sleeve with new liner notes by Kate Hutchinson.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
