Born to Czechoslovakian parents on January 18, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois (and sadly deceased as a result of breast cancer in Encino, California on August 15, 1978), singer Irene Kral was pianist Roy Kral's younger sister. Irene sang with bands on tours led by Woody Herman and Chubby Jackson and worked with Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton and Shelly Manne. Recorded for the small Ava label in 1963, Better Than Anything presents her backed only by a swinging rhythm section led by pianist Junior Mance. 180-gram VIRGIN VINYL LIMITED EDITION of 650 COPIES. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
