Details: Iron and Wine is the one guy and his tape deck project of Samuel Beam. It's an ode to an older South, defined by traditional values, pastoral imagery, and arcane manners. Beam teaches cinematography at a local Miami college, and this connection with film shows in the construct of his songs. It's arresting stuff; intimate "American Gothic" style portraits and landscapes with traditional sounding backdrops, and laced with seductive melodies. "A-"-Entertainment Weekly.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
