PRODUCT DETAILS
Jacuzzi Boys are back with Too Cold to Tango, their first full length since 2016.Traveling to the birthplace of rock n' roll to record a rock n' roll record highlighted the benefits of embracing imperfection and a kind of ragged beauty, and the spirit found it's way to them.Recorded at Sam Phillips Recording studio where iconic albums were made; The Cramps' Songs The Lord Taught Us, John Prine's Pink Cadillac, Alex Chilton's Like Flies on Sherbert and Sam The Sham and The Pharaohs' massive 60's hit Wooly Bully. With the legendary studio basically being untouched since it opened in 1960, working there felt like a way to facilitate the spirit of those recordings.Co-produced by the band and Bill Skibbe, with assistance from Memphis local / Grammy nominated producer Scott Bomar (Jay Reatard, Al Green, Cedric Burnside Project) who also supplied great insight about the studio and helped make the trio feel right at home.
