An iconic figure of the Bossa Nova movement, Brazilian pianist, composer, and arranger Joao Donato (1934-2023) introduced a new original rhythm pattern to the genre. He was profoundly influential, having inspired generations of musicians, including Joao Gilberto who confessed to having taken his bossa nova beat for violin from Donato's piano playing. Donato's solo career includes twenty-nine albums, among which 'A Bossa Muito Moderna'is one of his most highly rated. A quartet session from 1962, it features the great drummer Milton Banana, widely known for his playing with Joao Gilberto and Stan Getz.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
