Originally released in 1979, Low Budget marked a pivotal late career high point for The Kinks with a tougher, arena-ready sound. It became one of the band's strongest U.S. releases and remains a defining album of their late '70s period. This 2026 edition has been newly remastered from the original production sources, delivering improved clarity, balance, and dynamic range while preserving the character of the original mix. Tracks including ""(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman,"" ""Catch Me Now I'm Falling,"" and the title track benefit from a more detailed and focused presentation. Pressed on black EcoRecord vinyl.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
