Details: Lloyd Price - Mr Personality: The R&B Hits 1952-60 / Without question, Lloyd Price was one of the key protagonists for the rock 'n' roll explosion of the mid-fifties. Taking the gritty style of New Orleans R&B, where he started, he adapted it with innovative instrumental arrangements alongside the emergence of rock 'n' roll during the late '50s. Before the likes of Martin Luther King started smashing the cultural barriers down, Lloyd "Mr Personality" Price was already bringing the black and white youth together through his music. Of his 1952 hit, Lloyd pronounced "I revolutionised the South! Before Lawdy Miss Clawdy white kids were not really interested in this music". He went on to achieve a remarkable run of pop and R&B successes throughout the decade with over 30 chart entries, a combined 11 top ten hits and 4 no. 1's. This stunning 18 track collection concentrates on the biggest R&B hits he enjoyed from the debut smash hit Lawdy Miss Clawdy in 1952 through, Personality, I'm Gonna Get Married, Come Into My Heart to his last top ten hit in 1960 Question. Along the way, the listener can hear not only how 'Mr Personality' influenced rock 'n' roll, but also how he embraced the new genre with great success.

I needed an album within a few days for a birthday present. I bought the Dua Lipa album additionally for a Christmas gift. I contacted the owner Tristan. He replied very quickly. I had additional questions and, again, Tristan was very quick with a reply.
I took my chances on delivery and opted for the flat rate shipping since I am only about 3 hrs 40 minutes from them. I ordered on the 29th, went out that evening and received on the 31st. The package was in great condition with nothing wrong. No smashed corners, either. The album was in great condition inside, also. It was for my son ‘n law. He played Linkin Park (birthday present) and loves it! I know he will love the Dua Lipa album.
I will definitely purchase from Tristan again and have already suggested Pale Blue Dot Records to others.

We received our vinyl fast, it was fairly price, and they had a great selection to choose from. One record we purchased had an issue on the track, and the owner was quick to resolve the issue for us. I’ll be purchasing all of our records from this store moving forward!
A must-have for Bob’s fans, it’s got all the fantastic hits from seasons 7-9 including many of the holiday themed songs. Box arrived in perfect condition and quickly too, perfect ordering experience.

Lemon tree is my favorite song on the album and it’s such a beautiful song lemon yellow in person I’m so happy I found this! 10/10!
