Local Suicide's critically acclaimed 2022 debut, Eros Anikate, was titles after a phrase from Sophocles' Antigone. Eros Anikate translates to "love invincible", a fitting name for an album that celebrates emotional resilience, cultural connection, and artistic collaboration. Rooted in the duo's signature 'technodisco' sound, the album blends retro-futuristic synths, moody basslines, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling with a modern, genre-blurring edge. It's a deeply personal project born during the pandemic and inspired by their travels and encounters along the way - a sonic love letter to their global network of friends and collaborators. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
