PRODUCT DETAILS
Lyn Collins came to prominence in the 60s as a member of James Brown's legendary group. Her solo career started in 1971 and she hit paydirt in 1972 when her Brown penned and produced 7" 'Think (About It)' reached #9 on the R&B chart and #66 on the Billboard Hot 100. Collins debut album "Think (About It)" quickly followed and, as well as containing the hit single, also featured Collin's take on Bill Wither's 'Ain't No Sunshine', Bacharach and David's 'Reach Out For Me' as well as Brown's 'Woman's Lib' and 'Things Got To Get Better' that he co-wrote with Pee Wee Ellis. Long regarded as a soul classic "Think (About It)" has been reissued on numerous occasions but remains in demand as Collin's voice, riding over beautifully played and arranged music continues to enchant and weave a spell not over old and a new generation of fans. When it comes to stocking this album there is nothing to "Think" about.
