180-gram black vinyl. Manowar is an American heavy metal band from Auburn, New York. Formed in 1980, the group is known for lyrics based on fantasy and mythology as well as numerous songs celebrating the genre and it's core audience. In 1984, the band was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for delivering the loudest performance, a record which they have since broken on two occasions. The Hell of Steel: Best of Manowar is a compilation album and was released in 1994 by Atlantic Records. It features 14 tracks from their albums released under Atlantic (Fighting the World, Kings of Metal and The Triumph of Steel). The song "Herz Aus Stahl" is a German version of their track "Heart of Steel" The Hell Of Steel compilation is now available on black vinyl.
