PRODUCT DETAILS
Originally released in 1996, the sixth studio album from Goth superstars The Mission saw the band on roaring form. But only frontman and chief songwriter Wayne Hussey knew it would be their last. While touring 'Blue' at the end of 1996 he sensationally stunned fans by announcing that the band were to be dissolved. While The Mission did rise again, Phoenix-like, three years later, 'Blue' represented the closing of Chapter 1 of the band's story. Mostly written and composed in the city of Bath and completed in New York, 'Blue' produced a single in the shape of 'Coming Home'. For this year's National Album Day 'Coming Home's B-sides 'Perfect Sunrise' and 'Coming Home (Godlike Version)' have been added to the tracklist on vinyl for the first time. It also comes pressed on a suitably moody 'Drown In Blue' blend effect vinyl.
