On Answered Prayers, The Mosaic Window pulls back from the more polished, prog-tinged death/black hybrid of 2024's Hemasanctum and returns to the project's original core: first and second wave black metal, filtered through atmospheric shrieks of despair and phantasmal, buried death growls. The album's nihilistic concept — humanity erased retroactively, centuries before the Industrial Revolution, as the only "cure" for a poisoned world — plays out across ten tracks of cold, apocalyptic fury.
Highlights include the blistering, melodic "Serpentine" and "Devotion to My Burning Desire," the more dynamic, mid-tempo "Lightning Be Thy Guide," and "What Sage Could Not Cleanse" — an older composition that anchors the album's back-to-roots direction. Mixed and mastered by Alex Sedin (Ghostalgy Productions), with Dmitry Kim (Jinjer) on session drums.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!
