PRODUCT DETAILS
In the fifth chapter of the series, titled "Mellow Mood," Oscar Peterson returns to his trio setup with Sam Jones (bass) and Bob Durham (drums) after the solo endeavour of Vol. 4. This album features the Canadian pianist celebrating some of the giants of US jazz in several pieces. From Duke Ellington to Horace Silver and Gershwin, Peterson recorded songs from the "who is who" of the jazz scene.
Like the other releases from the "EFMF" series this album has been AAA-remastered by Grammy nominated mastering engineer Christoph Stickel.
