One of the most beloved RPG game series developed for consoles, Phantasy Star made its debut just in time for Christmas 1987, cramming several hours of gameplay into its 4MB Sega Master System cartridge. The larger-than-average cartridge size increased the price of the game on the shelf but it didn’t stop the rave reviews where critics praised its intricate graphics, smooth gameplay and epic storytelling. It’s no wonder that even 35 years later the Phantasy Star franchise is still well-loved amongst gamers!
Tokuhiko Uwabo’s score has all the nuanced complexities of the game laid out in audio fashion. Driving, at times contemplative and – above all – catchy as hell, it’s a well-deserved trip down memory lane for those who have played the game, and a monumental trip for lovers of 8-bit tunes!
This limited vinyl release features both the PSG (Programmable Sound Generator) and FM Synthesis versions of the soundtrack, with new liner notes from Retronauts’ Jeremy Parish and an 8-page booklet with rare artwork from the SEGA archives!

I needed an album within a few days for a birthday present. I bought the Dua Lipa album additionally for a Christmas gift. I contacted the owner Tristan. He replied very quickly. I had additional questions and, again, Tristan was very quick with a reply.
I took my chances on delivery and opted for the flat rate shipping since I am only about 3 hrs 40 minutes from them. I ordered on the 29th, went out that evening and received on the 31st. The package was in great condition with nothing wrong. No smashed corners, either. The album was in great condition inside, also. It was for my son ‘n law. He played Linkin Park (birthday present) and loves it! I know he will love the Dua Lipa album.
I will definitely purchase from Tristan again and have already suggested Pale Blue Dot Records to others.

We received our vinyl fast, it was fairly price, and they had a great selection to choose from. One record we purchased had an issue on the track, and the owner was quick to resolve the issue for us. I’ll be purchasing all of our records from this store moving forward!
A must-have for Bob’s fans, it’s got all the fantastic hits from seasons 7-9 including many of the holiday themed songs. Box arrived in perfect condition and quickly too, perfect ordering experience.

Lemon tree is my favorite song on the album and it’s such a beautiful song lemon yellow in person I’m so happy I found this! 10/10!
