One-off album from Planet Gong - 1977 live recording- Newly restored and remastered - Printed inner bag replicating the original 1978 French outer sleeve "you can colour it yourself!" - The spirit of Gong alive & kicking in a unique line-up. Historic sole album from Planet Gong capturing Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth with the classic 70s line-up of Here & Now on their 1977 Floating Anarchy Tour. Planet Gong would prove to be Daevid Allen's jumping Space-Punk into his music, a kind of transitional project between the Canterbury Gong sound and his prog-punk era. Recorded live, the music on this album is a wild, spacey psychedelic jam. The rough load comes from crazed and rhythms, led by Allen & Smyth's ever-distinctive clearly marked by Here & Now's anarchist style. An appealing album as much for the singalong subversion of the band as for any sense of musical collusion with the prevalent punk scene ensuring that Live Floating Anarchy 1977, remains archetypal Gong all the same. An essential record for Daevid Allen & early Gong fans, space-rock lovers and Gong collectors.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
