Featured in Kyle Buthman surf films, Coronado Brewing Company campaigns, and a creative partner of Salty Crew, San Diego's surf-rock duo Puerto returns after a six-year hiatus with Quit Dreaming / Holding On To The Mundane. Known for their sun-drenched blend of surf-rock and indie pop, Puerto has built a reputation for capturing the beauty and vibe of Southern California. Their new 7"" release includes two new songs and a music video, capturing the band's evolving perspective on the West Coast sound and lifestyle. The A-side, ""Quit Dreaming,"" pairs a steady, infectious groove with a hook-driven chorus, and the accompanying music video directed by Zach Mack documents a journey through San Diego's neighborhoods via city signs. On the flip side, ""Holding On To The Mundane"" is classic Puerto-a breezy track full of laid-back rhythms and easygoing melodies. As the title says, the song is a reminder to find meaning in everyday life rather than endlessly chasing ideals. Thus, this new release finds the band valuing presence over escapism, examining what it means to belong in a city that is constantly changing, and staying true to their surf-rock influences while branching off into modern indie.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
