Manifold of Partially Actualized Realities is the new album on Kou Records by Randall Dunn - producer, composer, and architect of some of the most distinctive low-end and spatial sound in contemporary music, known for his work with Sunn O))), Oneohtrix Point Never, and David Torn. A meditation on fractured realities, time, and mortality - a mirror that folds back on itself, and on how events of the future affect the past - the album draws it's animating spirit from Philip K. D ick's "pink light experience" of 1974: music that arrives in layers, collapses, reconstitutes, and refuses resolution. D eploying an arsenal of vintage synthesizers alongside an exceptional ensemble cast - including J i'm Jarmusch (spoken word after PKD), Laima Leyton (spoken word after Robert Graves), Cyro Baptista, Briggan Krauss, and Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe - the album moves from spectral electroacoustic writing to a final piece that opens into ecstatic jazz. True ensemble writing from one of experimental music's great sonic architects.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
