Details: Treat Her Right is the first ever vinyl compilation of the best tracks Roy Head released on the Backbeat label in the 1960s. They are his finest recordings, including the hit that launched his career, Treat Her Right. With most tracks produced by The Crazy Cajun himself, Huey Meaux (who also scored hits with Doug Sahm, Freddie Fender and so many others), they are the best examples of early southern swampy pop. Come do The Bug with Roy Head. With liner notes by Bill Bently and cover by Jad Fair (of Half Japanese).

I am happy with the album and the customer service response to my inquiry about whether it shipped. I am really unhappy with the delivery by USPS- it left Pale Blue dot on Jan. 14, went to two Florida distribution centers, traveled to Philadelphia and arrived on the 16th ( and close to my home) but then inexplicably went to Memphis TN arriving on the 17th where it remained for some unknown reason for five additional days until the 22nd until it shipped out again, arriving on the 25th. Like what the ???!!! Very frustrating. Don’t know if there are other shipping options but I advise against USPS. Happy with album and price otherwise.
