Formed in 1982 in Burien, Washington, SATO emerged when a group of high school friends united to chase their musical dreams. Inspired by heavy metal and hard rock giants like UFO, Scorpions, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden, they saw these bands as the pinnacle of achievement. SATO's passion and drive fueled their rise in a competitive scene known for it's electrifying performances and relentless energy. The band's name, spontaneously derived from the Ozzy Osbourne song during preparations for their debut gig at Seattle's Showbox, became a hallmark of their unpolished, authentic spirit. That first show, marked by an exploding fog machine, set the stage for SATO's reputation for frenzied and captivating live performances. This vinyl release features SATO's definitive recordings from Triad Studios, engineered by renowned producer Tom Hall, known for his work with Heir Apparent, Queensrÿche, and Overlord. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!
