A limited 180gm blue colored vinyl centenary release celebrating the 1926-1936 recordings of Gid Tanner & The Skillet Lickers, pioneers of early country music. Document Records celebrates the centenary of the first recordings by Gid Tanner & The Skillet Lickers with this special limited edition vinyl release. Recorded in Atlanta for Columbia Records beginning in 1926, the group played a defining role in shaping what would become commercial country music, blending old-time string band traditions with a new recorded sound. This album brings together some of their most influential performances, including "Bully Of The Town," "Pass Around The Bottle," and "Old Joe Clark," capturing the raw energy and musical character that made the Skillet Lickers one of the most important acts of their era.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
