A compilation album celebrating 7 years of documenting today's Japanese jazz - from the label Days of DelightDays of Delight, a new platform dedicated to Japanese jazz (founded and produced by Akiomi Hirano), will release the compilation album Spirit of "Days of Delight" vol. 5 (DOD-057) on October 23, 2025. This release commemorates the 7th anniversary of the independent label Days of Delight, which has specialized in Japanese jazz since it's establishment. It marks the label's 59th release, featuring performances that represent the highest standard of Japanese jazz - from living legends who thrived in the "golden 1970s" to rising stars in their 20s. Comment from Akiomi Hirano, Founder & Producer of Days of Delight:"Seven full years have now passed since the launch of the label, and this marks the fifth compilation drawn from our catalog. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
