PRODUCT DETAILS
Demon Records presents a Special 50th Anniversary Edition of this US-only release from late 1974, originally released on the Casablanca Records label, founded only a year earlier. Marc Bolan and T. Rex had recorded eight tracks in the US, which were destined for release on the band's 1975 UK album release "Bolan's Zip Gun". But previous album "Zinc Alloy" had not been released in the US, and Bolan was keen to have a new album available. So "Light Of Love" combined the eight newly-recorded tracks with three from the Zinc Alloy album - "Teenage Dream", "Explosive Mouth" and "Venus Loon". Amongst the new tracks was "Till Dawn", Bolan's last collaboration with Tony Visconti, responsible for the string arrangement on the track. Pressed on 140-gram orange vinyl, and housed in the original sleeve design, with a new inner sleeve.
