Details: PSYCHEDELIC CUMBIA FROM PERU -From the late 60's through the 80's, Peruvians invented a new popular musical hybrid inspired by music from the Americas. Using the electric guitar as the primary melodic instrument, they mixed cumbia rhythms with folkloric huaynos, criollo voicings, Cuban guarachas and guajiras, rock, boogaloo, surf, psychedelia, oriental music, classical music, and bits and pieces from Brazil, France, Chile - all without ever using the words post-modern, pastiche or mélange. The Roots of Chicha, compiled by Barbès Records, was released in 2006 and became the first recording to popularize the music around the world.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
