Details: Limited six vinyl LP box set. An American Treasure: Vinyl Edition features all 60 tracks and a 48-page booklet containing all of the photographic and editorial elements found in the CD Deluxe Edition. This set also includes the Nicholas Dawidoff essay. The compilation includes many of Petty's hits, usually alternate or live versions, but also highlights some of his lesser known songs. It includes songs from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Tom Petty solo, and Mudcrutch. The compilation is generally sequenced chronologically, although there are some exceptions - mainly for live recordings. You'll encounter previously unknown recordings of Petty smashes plus songs you've never heard.

I am happy with the album and the customer service response to my inquiry about whether it shipped. I am really unhappy with the delivery by USPS- it left Pale Blue dot on Jan. 14, went to two Florida distribution centers, traveled to Philadelphia and arrived on the 16th ( and close to my home) but then inexplicably went to Memphis TN arriving on the 17th where it remained for some unknown reason for five additional days until the 22nd until it shipped out again, arriving on the 25th. Like what the ???!!! Very frustrating. Don’t know if there are other shipping options but I advise against USPS. Happy with album and price otherwise.
