PRODUCT DETAILS
During their touring years, High Tone's concerts were unmissable: basslines that hit hard and deep, a buzzing drum sound, a quirky and edgy guitar, trippy psychedelic keyboards, along with a subtle use of turntables and samplers-not to mention politically charged music videos and lyrics... All the ingredients were there to ride a wave of electro jungle-a rare experience live! These five guys from Lyon, apostles of the Massive Dub Style, created a deeply organic and warm sound, vibrating with emotion. Rhythms borrowed from Indian and Jamaican music took us on a journey around the world. And on this album, the atmosphere of this journey around the world is beautifully captured, so that you can feel the symbiosis between the band and it's audience. Hence this long-awaited reissue of an album that brings together several tracks recorded live during the 2002 tour.
