Born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 25, 1933 (he died in 2023 at the age of 89), Wayne Shorter was described shortly before with death by jazz critic Ben Ratliff of the New York Times as "probably jazz's greatest living small-group composer and a contender for greatest living improviser." Introducing Wayne Shorter was his debut album as a leader. It features the saxophonist along with his Jazz Messengers companion Lee Morgan and the Wynton Kelly Trio, with Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums. This album recently came back to the fore after bestselling writer Michael Connelly showed his character Harry Bosch listening to the song "Harry's Last Stand" is his novel Resurrection Walk. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
