Limited edition of 750 numbered copies on silver coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Love Wars is the 1983 debut album by Womack & Womack. The album charted at number 34 on the Billboard Top Black Albums chart. Steeped in the early-'60s style of Cecil's band The Valentinos and Linda Womack's father, Sam Cooke, but they have updated the style. Nevertheless, this is contemporary soul likely to be embraced by fans of Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and others of the genre. Two singles from the album, "Love Wars" and "Baby I'm Scared of You", were hits in the UK, reaching number 14 and number 72 on the UK Singles Chart, respectively. Album was ranked number 4 among the "Albums of the Year" for 1984 by NME, and the single "Love Wars" was ranked as the yea's number 1 song.

Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
