One of the most charismatic frontmen in modern bluegrass, Woody Platt has played animportant part in shaping the trajectory of bluegrass music over the past 20 years. Asa founding member and lead singer for The Steep Canyon Rangers, Platt spent yearstouring tirelessly, many of them in collaboration with actor/comedian and banjoist SteveMartin, earning a GRAMMY award, multiple GRAMMY nominations, and internationalrecognition in the process. But when the pandemic struck, the time at home causedPlatt to rethink his personal priorities. He decided to put his touring life on hold and leftthe Rangers to spend more time with his young family.Fortunately for bluegrass fans, the end of Platt's tenure with The Rangers has marked anew chapter in his musical life, one that he is celebrating with the release of his first soloalbum, Far Away With You. The album cements Platt's place at the cutting edge wheretraditional and contemporary bluegrass meet, and his smooth baritone vocals, coupledwith his ear for lyrics with contemporary themes create a sonic palette that honors hisbluegrass roots even as he cultivates new growth. Records arrived inside the special record boxes, unopened, and in pristine condition. They didn't very long to begin the shipping either. Some places make you wait 3-5 days just to have it shipped out. They did not.
This is not about the product. I've ordered from PBD before and the Vinyls that come from them are wonderful and pressed really well!

USPS seemed to have goofed around a bit and cause a delay of about 1.5 weeks. Tristan was a highly communicative person and was reassuring with the options I had regarding if my order never arrived.
